Postcard from Jamaica with picture of the Castle at Trident, Portland on the front. White building with blue sky behind, green trees in front, ramp at one end leading down to water. Small map of the island bottom left and "JAMAICA" in pink letters on the right. On reverse is message and address. Two Jamaican stamps (40c and 50c) with Jamaican postmark (date unclear).

The Trident castle was built at Turtle Crawle Bay, close to Port Antonio, in the 1980s by the architect Earl Levy . The castle was commissioned by Baroness Fahmi of Germany. The castle is now a Hotel.

This postcard was sent to Mrs. S. Wilson, the donor, by someone called Linda. Mrs. S. Wilson was originally from Jamaica and emigrated to Wandsworth.
