Pakistani Brass Grater. Late 20th - Early 21st Century.

Brass grater from a Pakistani household. The central panel forms grating surface with holes in two different sizes for different textures. This is riveted onto a base with four legs to form a tortoise shape. The "head" is an upturned section with a serrated edge presumably to grate or shred. The "tail" has a ring attached for hanging. A figure "2" is engraved in the "neck" and the letters "SC" at the head end of the central section.
