ENTIRE", and the building has extensions both to the from and to the right. . The pub is nested amidst a green landscape, with towering trees. Some people are visible gathering in front of the pub, with 4 people sitting at tables under a porch to the right of the composition, and another person tending to a drinking horse pulling a cart on the left side of the watercolour. A stump of oak tree with lamp on top is standing right outside the door.
Artist Biography
J. T. Wilson (active 1856–1882) A British watercolourist known for his detailed depictions of London and the surrounding countryside, J. T. Wilson exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy and Suffolk Street Galleries during the mid to late 19th century. His works often feature civic landmarks, village squares, and public houses, rendered with architectural precision and atmospheric charm.
