This is a letter by Caroline Townshend, 'Haywards Heath letter'. Townshend was a renowned stained glass artist of the Arts and Crafts movement. She started a studio at the Glass House in Fulham, in 1903. She and her apprentice, Joan Howson, set up their company, Townshend & Howson, in 1920. Haywards Heath is a town in West Sussex, England.
