Artist Biography
Robert Boyce Powter (1921–2003) Robert Powter studied at Goldsmiths' College School of Art (1946–1950) and later taught at Spencer Park School in Wandsworth (1957–1982). He lived on Earlsfield Road, Wandsworth, from the late 1960s into the 1980s, and many of his works capture the character of the local area. His paintings often reflect a quiet intimacy with domestic landscapes and community spaces
