Ikebana is a minimalist Japanese art form of flower arrangement

It is a hands on activity creating with flowers-it values space, simplicity, asymmetry and connection to nature. In Japan it is a cultural treasure and is one of the top 3 classical art forms that is recognised by the Unesco Cultural Heritage as a time-honoured tradition. Creating Ikebana has a meditative and relaxing quality that effortlessly clears and calm the busy mind. All workshops are designed to inspire creativity, mindfulness and transform seasonal flowers and plant material into expressive works of art.Discover the beauty of what nature offers throughout the seasons whilst making new social connections. This is a taster workshop where you are guided by an expert Ikebana teacher to create your own individual arrangement. No experience necessary. All equipment is provided. Price £35 per person which includes flowers ONLY to use and take home. Minimum of 2 participants per class required for classes to run.
