Organised by the Friends of Wandsworth Common

PY Betts had a promising writing career then disappeared from view. Fifty years later she wrote a poignant and very funny memoir of growing up in Wandsworth Common during the First World War. In this talk, we uncover her story and the places and people she brought so wildly to life in her book, 'People Who Say Goodbye'. Doors open at 6.30pm. Booking required.
