We hosted a high‑energy celebration of music, movement and community, marking the end of Wandsworth’s year as the Mayor's London Borough of Culture. We've ignited culture and creativity in Wandsworth, and this will continue to be at the heart of our borough.

The power station came alive for a full day of unforgettable performances and extraordinary moments. We were joined by UK Garage and Grime stars Lisa Maffia and Romeo, who hosted the main stage, as well as Basement Jaxx and Sarah Jayne's joyful tribute to Dolly Parton. Across Battersea Power Station, there was family‑friendly circus and activities, dance performances, heritage workshops, choirs singing, and the return of Strictly Wandsworth dance and the vibrant Urban Flow flag parade!
We were treated to homegrown Wandsworth talent including SW15 Music & The Undergrads, Battersea Power Station Community Choir and BAC Beatbox Academy!
Inside the power stations was a dance takeover, with performances from Lucie Benson School of Dance, Royal Academy of Dance: SYNC, London Children’s Ballet, SASalsa, TAVAZIVA and Flow Dance Nine Elms.
Family friendly activities included Autin Dance Theatre's Giant Wheel, Brainfools stilt walkers, and Jellyfish Theatre's amazing show! The Urban Flow parade was revisited and we had Choirs performing throughout the day at part of Sing to Thrive, including Some Voices Choir, Treblemakers and the Thames Philharmonic Choir. We also had the Our Beautiful Neighbourhood Exhibition as well as fun lawn games!
Finally we had activities including Apples & Snakes Pop-Up Poetry, family Heritage & Craft Workshops with Grace Holliday, Bounce Theatre Creative Workshops, face-painting, and artist live painting.
