The London Singing Social
The London Singing Social is run by Singing Coach Jessica Friend and prioritises vocal and personal empowerment, a judgement-free zone, singing technique, harmony and feel-good singing.
All levels are welcome! We get together on Tuesdays 7.15pm - 9pm at the bbodance studios on the riverfront.
What do you love about culture in Wandsworth?
I love how vibrant and varied the culture is here, there’s always something going on, from live music to art and community events. As a singing coach in Wandsworth for the past 4 years (and before that in Tooting), I’ve met people from so many different backgrounds. Through my Singing Social and also 121 lessons, I see how singing brings people together, boosts confidence, and genuinely makes a difference to their lives. I'd like to bring that to the wider audience in Wandsworth!
What makes Wandsworth a creative place to live and work?
I feel that Wandsworth is a place where all voices are welcomed, both literally and figuratively. Running my Singing Social here means I get to be part of a thriving community where music and creativity aren’t just hobbies, they are a way of bringing people together and making life richer.
