A young woman records a broadcast in a radio studio

Become a Young Reporter

Step into the shoes of a radio broadcaster with Riverside Radio. Learn how to conduct interviews with artists and event organisers for a radio broadcast over multiple sessions.

Report on arts and culture activities taking place across the borough, sharing your experiences with residents across the radio-waves to spread the word on events from festivals, street parties, gigs and art exhibitions.

Delivery Dates: Until April 2026

This project is free and for those aged 14 – 19, who live or study in the borough of Wandsworth. Sessions will be every now and then, outside of school hours and organised around your schedule.

I enjoyed it and it was a good way to meet new people and go to different events
