What Next? is a free-to-access movement that brings together small and large organisations and freelancers to debate and shape arts & culture in the UK.
What Next? Mission:
Through regional What Next? Chapters and regular UK wide meetings, What Next convenes a space to bring together the breadth of leadership within the arts and culture sector, where challenge and possibility can lead to shared priorities and collective responses.
Our local chapter is What Next? Wandsworth
About the Chapter. This chapter has been meeting regularly since June 2013 and is embedded in the local arts and community scene as a useful network. A marvellous unintended consequence of the Chapter is new working partnerships amongst members. Follow us on Instagram @whatnextwandsworth
We ask:
- What are the needs of our creative community?
- How can we work with each other as organisations and individuals to support what is needed or wanted locally and to inspire fresh thinking and creative responses. What can we do together that we can’t do alone?
We have regular guest speakers, both local and national. We attend WNUK and bring feedback but the regular agenda is firmly locally focused.
Membership
There are 170+ on our mailing list, with a core of 50 regular attenders from arts, community sectors including faith, youth and business. Our usual attendance is 10-20 per meeting.
Meetings:
We meet once a month, alternating online Wednesdays 9.30am-10.30am and in person Thursday 4.30-5.30pm.
