This autumn, Liberty Festival 2025 brings a celebration of disabled artistry to Wandsworth from 24–29 September, as a highlight of their London Borough of Culture Year. An electrifying programme of free events will run across venues in the borough, spanning immersive art installations, theatre, dance, cabaret, creative workshops and much more.

What is Liberty Festival?

Liberty Festival is the Mayor of London’s flagship disability arts festival, platforming some of the most exciting disabled creatives, showcasing bold, innovative work that excites, challenges and reframes disability for audiences across the capital. It is hosted in each London Borough of Culture. 

Liberty is a bold platform for work by some of the most exciting disabled creatives, showcasing bold, innovative work that excites, challenges and reframes disability for audiences across the capital. Liberty 2025 is a celebration of - and an investment in - the present and future of disabled people, art, culture, and community.

This year’s Liberty is produced by one of the country’s most influential and outstanding disabled-led creative organisations, CRIPtic Arts. They exist to create an artistic landscape where disabled people flourish. They provide active disabled leadership which advances world-class arts work with disabled creatives. From high-quality community activities to showcasing breakthrough performers; they’re blazing a revolution in accessibility.
