How to Register
Everything you need to know about registering your event as part of WAF2025. Find out about registration fees and discounts, information about ticketing, a checklist of what you’ll need to have ready to complete your listing, and a step-by-step guide through the online registration process.
Registration Fees
There are several types of registration fee depending on whether your event is live in-person or online, and how many venues you’d like to take your event to.
We offer an Early Bird discount if you begin your registration before 5pm on Thu 9 Jan 2025. You do not need complete listing information to begin a registration and benefit from the discount, but don’t forget to come back later and finish your listing!
We also offer 50% off fees for artists under 26 or for artist collectives with over half of their members aged under 26.
If your project is multi-faceted, for instance it includes a workshop, a live event, an exhibition and a film, please DO NOT register it as a multi-venue event. Get in touch with WAF Producer Cath Mattos who will advise you on the best way to register those events individually as part of the same project in a cost-effective way.

Checklist: Creating Your Listing
To finalise your registration, you will need:
- Event title
- Performer/artist name
- Venue/s (please make sure your venue is confirmed before completing your listing)
- Dates and times of your event
- Ticket pricing and how many tickets to put on sale with WAF - Please factor in a 12% inside fee for Seatlive (our ticketing service) to manage your ticket sales.
- Age suitability
- Event type (e.g. Outdoor, Exhibition, Live Indoor, or Digital etc)
- Genre/s (e.g. Dance, Music, Theatre etc)
- Short description of your event (max 250 characters)
- Long description of your event (max 1250 characters)
- Minimum of 1 image – 1600 pixels wide x 1200 pixels high (landscape) which is under 2MB in file size.
Optional extra info/content includes:
- Any ticket offers (public and/ or private)
- Event accessibility information
- Your social media/ website/ contact details
- A schedule of activity (if your event includes lots of elements e.g. a mini day festival)
- Additional web images (same formats as your main web image)
- A high res, press quality image for print flyers and PR (min 2000px wide, max 4MB filesize)
- YouTube or Vimeo links for trailer/s and other videos
