Celebrate vibrant traditions through cultural songs, storytelling, henna art, and a wedding-inspired setup.

Women and children will come together to enjoy live performances of traditional songs, learn their meanings and participate in interactive music sessions. Henna artists will share the cultural significance of this ancient art, demonstrating intricate designs and teaching participants how to create their own. 

The event will feature a wedding-inspired setup, with vibrant décor showcasing South Asian wedding traditions and customs. Attendees will also enjoy a feast of traditional dishes, with everyone bringing one dish to share, offering a true taste of South Asia. Elders will share stories from the past, bridging generations with lessons of love, respect and bravery. 

A Taste of South Asia will be a fun, educational and immersive experience; fostering connection, cultural exchange and a deeper understanding of South Asian heritage. The event promises a celebration of community, culture and shared experiences.
