Sean the Cheap
Penguin the Fish
Date
Sun 15 - Fri 20 Jun 2025
This serious art piece explores the idea of being torn and questions what a Queer Jewish Body represents on stage.
Penguin is a fish that was cut in half when Moses parted the red sea, way back
when. That’s it, that’s the story. He is ok – he has just spent a long
time wandering across the earth and tonight he is here to entertain you
because of… reasons. Two important things to remember is that he is not
gay, and that he is very wet. This is a WIP (emphasis on the WIP) clowning
piece exploring feelings related to Queer Judaism with the queer creative
strategies of dick jokes, spanking, and water sports. Deeply not inspired
by Marina Abramovic, this serious art piece explores the idea of being
torn and questions what a Queer Jewish Body represents on stage. Expect
spit and God. Content warnings: Loud noises, swearing, antisemitism
