Community & Connections Exhibition
The public are invited to an exhibition of short listed images submitted to the Battersea Society photography award on the theme of Community & Connections.
Created to celebrate the many communities within Battersea, and to capture the idea of community and connection in visual images, the Award aims to inspire entries from a wide and diverse range of amateur photographers.
In this special year as Wandsworth’s London Borough of Culture, the Battersea Society has invited budding photographers to submit original, high-quality images linked to the theme of Community & Connections. These could be photographs of people, activities, events or places that communicate relationships within or between communities in the local area.
The top 30 entries will be short-listed to go on display at the Royal College of Art Battersea from Thursday 9 October to Saturday 11 October, and the overall winner will receive £100 cash, a framed high-resolution print of their winning image, a mentoring session with a professional photographer and enrolment in a specialist photography course.
Taken a photo you’re particularly proud of? Submit your entry by Sunday 14 September via the Battersea Society website: https://www.batterseasociety.org.uk/photo-competition-2025
