Group 64's Playwriting Competition: In collaboration with Theatre503 & Supported by Wandsworth Council
We want to hear stories from as many young people in the London Borough of Wandsworth as possible. You don’t need any experience! We want to hear what you have to say!
QUICK GLANCE INFORMATION - No experience is necessary. There are two age categories 14-16 or 17-19 years. You can apply if you are aged 14 - 19 years. You can write a 30-40 minutes play or a 5 minutes short play or scene.
TIMELINE - Closing Date for scripts: Friday, 19th September at 5pm. Finalists will be announced on the 14th October. Finalist plays will be rehearsed during the week of the 27th October. Performances of the winning plays and scenes will take place on the 20th, 21st, 22nd November. The winners will be given the opportunity to direct their own plays, with support of the Group 64 staff, or we have G64 Young Directors, who can direct your script if you would prefer.
