Jack Stanford (1900-1968) was a dancer, actor, and mime artist whose career spanned several decades. He has been brought to a new generation of fans thanks to Tik Tok content creators mixing his dancing with modern music!

Stanford toured Europe in the 1920s, and headlined with Josephine Baker at the Folies Bergère in Paris. His work took him to the USA, South Africa, and Tripoli amongst others. But it was Battersea he called home!

All welcome at this plaque unveiling celebrating his life here in Battersea. Stanford's daughter, Jill Stanford will be present and sharing her memories and memorabilia.
