Let Jeanne introduce you to the first female civil servant, Jeannie Nassau Senior; the Bride of Frankenstein, Elsa Lanchester; suffragist and campaigner, Charlotte Despard; the first Black woman to sing on the BBC, Evelyn Dove; and many more of the inspiring women who have called Battersea home.
This event takes place on Sunday 7th September at 12pm staring outside the Battersea Arts Centre and coinciding with Lavender Hill Festival.
