Arts charity and professional opera company, Baseless Fabric, present their modern re-imagining of Donizetti's fun-filled comedy 'The Elixir of Love'
Performed in English in public spaces, audiences of all ages can follow the characters down the high street as their raucous, entangled love story unfolds. THE STORY: Adina is beautiful, popular and doesn’t believe in true love. Nemorino is geeky, shy and in love with Adina – and with buses. When Dulcamara turns up selling the latest social media craze – The Love Effect fragrance – Nemorino thinks his dreams have come true and Adina might finally fall for him. But will his dreams go awry when her usual type, the good-looking, arrogant Belcore shows up? LOCATIONS: 7th August, Roehampton, 5pm 9th August, Wandsworth Town, 5pm 10th August, Putney, 1pm
