Join us at the fabulous Clapham Grand for a night of music, cabaret and celebration as we kick off Liberty 2025.

Kicking off the night is a pocket-sized version of Midgitte Bardot's Personal Spot. Come and revel in the half-hour spectacular, brimming with Live Art, dance, drag, comedy, and radical hoo-ha. Featuring disabled, ground-shaking artists who are hell-bent on, and entitled to, a bloody good time.

Midgitte Bardot’s Personal Spot runs hot off the tails of DaDaFest, Southbank Centre, BAC Royal Court (3 years ago), and most of the basements in East London.

We are also thrilled to welcome Wandsworth based partners Sound Minds who will be sharing a showcase of live music. Celebrating creativity and community the event will bring together a diverse line-up of performers whose music spans genres from soulful blues to hard-hitting hip-hop. A party for friends, fans, artists and industry, all are welcome and invited to dance!

Sound Minds is a mental health charity transforming lives through music, film and art. They are a thriving community bound together by creativity and a shared belief in mutual learning and peer support. Sound Minds works with people with lived experience of mental health problems and is a safe space for members, volunteers and staff.

Liberty Festival is the Mayor of London’s flagship disability arts festival, platforming some of the most exciting disabled creatives, showcasing bold, innovative work for free that excites, challenges and reframes disability for audiences across the capital and hosted in each London Borough of Culture.
