Meet Your Neighbours: Community Theatre Group
Your stories. Your neighbourhood. Your point of view. Meet Your Neighbours is Tara Theatre's free community theatre group for local residents. This year, participants will take part in creative workshops over 10 weeks to create a brand-new performance inspired by the theme ‘Echoes of Earlsfield’.
At the end of the programme the piece will be performed in your beautiful local theatre (Tara Theatre!) to an audience, making it the perfect opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills, build up your confidence and create a piece of theatre with your neighbours.
Sessions will feature different storytelling skills. Previously in the programme this has included writing, movement, music, collaboration, voiceover, craft works, poetry and more.
No experience is required, this is a safe place to experiment and try new things!
The creative sessions will run on Friday mornings 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM from 3rd October to 28th November. The showcase is on Friday 5th December.
