Teacher CPD: Joseph Coelho's Poetry Prompts

Celebrated author Joseph Coelho, who grew up in Wandsworth, is on a mission: to make poetry accessible to everyone!

As part of a series of events for Wandsworth Schools he invites all Wandsworth teachers and teaching assistants on Wednesday 19th November to join him at Wandsworth Civic Suite at 4.30pm for an interactive poetry CPD session celebrating his book ‘Poetry Prompts’ which shares a life’s work of tips, tricks and guides on STARTING to write, perform and enjoy poetry.

He will share information on additional resources available to schools and explore how to inspire and encourage poetry writing in the classroom.

All attendees will also receive a free signed copy of his book to use in their classrooms. (Subject to availability, may be limited to 1 copy per school)

This event is exclusive to teachers and teaching assistants from Wandsworth Primary Schools and is free to attend.
