Shakespeare in the Squares presents The Taming of the Shrew

Shakespeare in the Squares will be performing at St Anne's Church Garden this summer. The not-for-profit theatre company will be celebrating its eighth anniversary with The Taming of the Shrew, Shakespeare’s comedy battle of wits, wills and wild romance complete with toe-tapping pop classics. Shakespeare in the Squares stages a Shakespeare play in London gardens every summer. Their minimal sets transform gardens into magical settings. Their aim is to provide a showcase for young, professional actors, many have gone on to perform with the National Theatre and other mainstream companies. The company’s Patron is Dame Judi Dench. The shows at St Anne's will take place on Saturday 7th June. The matinee will begin at 2.30pm and the evening performance will begin at 7pm. We hope that the audience will picnic before. Tickets are on sale now, you can take advantage of the early bird adult ticket rate until 21st April.
