Moving Viewpoints
“Moving Viewpoints” is an outdoor, site-specific dance performance featuring dancers from Red Desert Dance Ensemble
Performed in and outside of York Gardens Library, this is an interactive event that encourages audience participation. Inspired by the book “What’s Your Story? True Experiences from Complete Strangers”, dancers will interact with audience members and ask them questions, while using movement to create vignettes that incorporate contemporary dance into all areas of life and storytelling. These performances are a relaxed and creative sneak peak of the company’s full production, "Moving Scenes", which can be seen at the Royal Academy of Dance on Saturday, 14th June as a part of the Wandsworth Arts Festival. **Wednesday's performance will take place inside York Gardens Library and will be directed towards younger audience members. The Friday performance will take place in the park outside the library and is open to all.
