Whirling Wandivs

Amongst the bricks and the concrete, they encounter striking graffiti and soothing pockets of nature. At times we see them chart their way through comforting places of familiarity. At others, we sense a new discovery, something anomalous revealed. Tentatively, excitedly, poetically, these curious creatures eventually find a way to re-trace a path back to their most favourite place. 

Featuring local residents, this film has been shot in many locations across the borough including the Winstanley, York Road and Alton Estates. It highlights how a fresh beauty and mystery can be found every day if we explore our surroundings with artistry and imagination.
