Postcard from Jamaica showing 3 photos over a bright yellow background. In the first image a Jamaican soldier stands guard with a rifle over his shoulder. On the second image a group of tourist are being taken in a bamboo raft, with a black man standing at the front guiding the raft with a long pole. His face is facing away to us looking at the rest of the people in the raft. The last panel show us a black woman dressed in a bright pink and yellow ruffle dress, possibly a dancing attire, holding a maraca in one and. She is standing at the shore of a beach, her feet in the water. The words "Beautiful … Exciting! Jamaica' are scattered around the composition.
The back contains an inscription and one Jamaican stamp (1 Dollar).
This postcard was sent to Mrs. S. Wilson, the donor, by Pam & Joseph. Mrs. Wilson was originally from Jamaica and emigrated to Wandsworth.
