Ikebana is a minimalist Japanese art form of flower arrangement

It is a hands on activity and is akin to creating a living sculpture that is more than just arranging flowers - it values space, simplicity, asymmetry and connection to nature. In Japan it is a cultural treasure and is one of the top 3 classical art forms and recognised by the Unesco Cultural Heritage as a time-honoured tradition. The practice of Ikebana has a meditative quality that helps to quickly clear and calm the busy mind. And so our curated workshops are designed to inspire creativity, mindfulness and transform seasonal flowers and plant material into expressive works of art. Each class is a serene environment for forging meaningful social connections whilst discovering the beauty of what nature offers throughout the seasons. This is a taster workshop where you are guided by expert Ikebana teacher to create your very own arrangement. No experience necessary and everything you need is included.
