Led by local playwright, Zakiyyah Dean, Wave Writers will help you unlock your creativity in a fun, social setting.
After our workshops, Zakiyyah will write a short play inspired by our sessions that will be read on our mainstage on International Women's Day. This event will be open to the public and booked separately.
These sessions are being held for local women from African and Caribbean backgrounds. Local for us means you live, work, study in Wandsworth. We invite you to have fun while getting creative, learning some new skills, and making new friends. All levels of experience are welcome.
