
Meet the Italian book expert: Ornella Tarantola
Join us at Roehampton Library where Ornella Tarantola will be presenting a wide range of contemporary Italian novels.
Former manager of The Italian Bookshop for thirty years and current event organiser for the Italian Culture Institute of London, Ornella Tarantola will be joining us at the library to present a wide range of contemporary novels, written by authors spanning the last few decades and including Michela Murgia and Antonio Tabucchi, among many others.
She currently runs a series of talks titled The Italian Library for the Italian Culture Institute of London, with many significant guests invited to present their work. Discussions range from literature to current affairs, astrology and Artificial Intelligence.
Recently she was awarded the honour of Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy for the diffusione of Italian culture in the United Kingdom.
