MY MOVING MEDAL

This joyful and personalised project is for absolutely anyone experiencing any move, alteration, development or transition in education, housing, employment, personal circumstances, role, identity, literally anything! 

This workshop is age and gender free. It links Past (lived experience) to Present (now!) to Future (what if?!) with memory and modest abilities using scissors and colouring pencils! We make a ribbon from a thin strip of your pre-owned fabric to recycle (for example it could be from a tie, suit, skirt, tea towel, curtains, flag) signifying your past: uniform; home; country; job; personality; your choice. 

With our badge making kit we make up the badge you design depicting your changed or changing identity: house number, school, work, motto, name. We pin the badge to the ribbon and hang it from a golden safety pin, to wear in public - or display in private - to announce the New You! to Chart Your Change! It’s a Tribute to Your Progress: “MY MOVING MEDAL”. 

Just bring yourself, your time, your energy and your meaningful material - if you have it - otherwise recycled supplies are available. We provide the rest!
