Date
Thu 10 Jul 2025
Free event no booking

To celebrate 40 years of Michael Warren’s artistic journey with the Grade II* listed Power Station, a special one day exhibition will be hosted by Battersea Power Station and the Rotary Club of Battersea Park in Turbine Hall A inside the landmark on Thursday 10th July between 10am and 5pm. Michael Warren is a Battersea based artist who draws and paints contemporary life in London

Since 1987, he has served as Artist in Residence at Battersea Power Station, creating a comprehensive and historically valuable collection of artwork of the Power Station as the building deteriorated before its transformation into a new riverside neighbourhood for London began. Battersea Power Station has remained Michael’s passion and when the Malaysian shareholders purchased the 42-acre site in 2012, he was granted unique behind the scenes access to record the restoration of the building.
