The Lighterman - A Dance by the River

Date
Thu 19 Jun 2025
Free event no booking

Between 7:30–8:30pm, witness a series of dance iterations unfolding beside the Thames in Putney, celebrating the launch of The Lighterman — a new public sculpture by G23LAB

These short, site-specific performances respond to themes of maritime heritage, navigation, and movement, offering shifting perspectives on the river’s past and present. Part of Wandsworth Arts Fringe 2025, the event invites audiences to drift in and out or stay and observe the full cycle of dance in dialogue with place.
