Guitarissimo2 (guitar ensemble)

A concert performance of classical, acoustic guitar music showcasing a variety of genres from Baroque, South American, Folkloric, to film and ethnic music. 

The program will include duos, quartets and guitar orchestra, we will also collaborate with few string instruments (violin and cello). The event will be developed through community focused workshops, the result of the collaboration between professional performers and community guitar groups of all abilities. 

Connecting with music creates a sense of community and uplifts our mood. When creating something special together we enrich our lives, we build friendships, we feel happier and healthier; music heals. The sound of the classical, acoustic guitar evokes real emotion and gets to the soul of things.

Time: 19:30 - 21:00. 

In addition there will be 3 workshop rehearsals in preparation (on 29, 30, and31October) at St Michael's Southfields.
