ONE BOROUGH, MANY CULTURES UNITED IN SERVICE CADET CELEBRATION & RECOGNITION EVENT In the presence of the Lord Lieutenant of Greater London Sir Kenneth Olisa, OBE WEDNESDAY 25TH JUNE 2025 6PM - 9PM AT WANDSWORTH CIVIC SUITE Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating the dedication and achievements of our community! CADETS AND YOUTH VOLUNTEERS This special event will recognise the outstanding contributions of young cadets who demonstrate commitment, leadership and service, helping to strengthen our community and serve as ambassadors of our rich cultural heritage. All cadets and their families are warmly invited to attend this evening of celebration and recognition. CALLING ALL WANDSWORTH CADETS SHOW YOUR PRIDE. DESIGN YOUR BADGE. WIN BIG. We're celebrating you- the incredible Wandsworth cadets - at a special event on 25th June 2025 at the Wandsworth Civic Suite. And we want your creativity to take centre stage. As part of the celebrations, we're launching a Cadet Badge Design Competition. Your mission: design a unique pin badge that reflects the values of the cadets and the spirit of Wandsworth. The winning design will be turned into a real pin badge awarded to every cadet across the Borough. Shortlisted designs will be proudly displayed at Battersea Power Station The winning detachment will score an exclusive tour of Battersea Power Station - including a ride to the top of the iconic chimney. The individual winner will walk away with a brand-new iPad and an invitation to an exclusive Apple event. Need some inspiration? Join our hour design workshop with tutors from Putney School of Art on Weds 7th May at 5.45pm or Wed 21s May at 5.45pm. All participating cadets are welcome. Final designs must be submitted by Friday 23d May to psad@enablelc.org or hard copies to Cadet Designs, Putney Art School, 46 Oxford Road, London SW15 2LQ A panel including the Deputy Lieutenant, the Mayor, Sarah Banham, BPSD, Kaz Lorimer, Aide-de-Camp to the Lord Mayor of the City of London (Army Cadets) and Clir Sarmila Varatharaj will judge entries. So grab your pens, show cadet pride and get designing. This is your chance to make your mark.
