Wandsworth Heritage Festival

Wandsworth's annual festival celebrating the borough's rich history through a programme of walks, talks, exhibitions, and creative performances. 

The 2025 Wandsworth Heritage Festival will take place from Friday 13th June – Sunday 13th July and will be themed ‘Wandsworth and the Arts’ with a bumper four-week festival to mark Wandsworth’s year as London Borough of Culture.

For the first time ever, the festival will share a week with Wandsworth Arts Fringel, which runs from Friday 6th – Sunday 22nd June. 

Wandsworth Heritage Festival is organised by the Wandsworth Heritage Service, with the support of contributors from local groups and societies.

Highlights include encounters with the dead in cemetery walks, finding folklore in the borough’s flora and fauna, heritage talks and archive tours. Activities for children include library storytelling and craft workshops.
