The Gardener by Mike Kenny (play for children)

Date
Sun 8 - Sun 22 Jun 2025

Joe has a new baby sister and nobody wants to play with him. Uncle Harry has no one to play with either and he needs help in the garden.

Yesterday seems far away. And long ago is like today Joe has a new baby sister and nobody wants to play with him. Uncle Harry has no one to play with either and he needs help in the garden. As the seasons change they find a common bond as they tend the plants and come to terms with the challenges of childhood and of ageing. Mike Kenny’s play for children of six and older, and their parents and grandparents, is a masterclass in storytelling using rhymes, rhythms, and fun.
