Make It Live

ActionSpace presents Make It Live, an innovative participatory art programme, led by Wandsworth-based learning disabled artists. Breaking new ground in the field of digital, participatory and live art, Make It Live offers a diverse programme of inclusive workshops and events for learning disabled and non-disabled audiences. 

Stretching across the year, Make It Live will consist of four bespoke one-day workshops run by ActionSpace artists with complex learning disabilities for adults with complex Learning Disabilities, in partnership with Wandsworth Learning Disability Service providers.

ActionSpace artists leading the workshops include Linda Bell, Pardip Kapil, Robin Smith and Claudia Williams.

Make It Live will also present two live streamed on-line participatory events titled Paint It Live and Draw It Live. These painting and drawing events will be live-streamed from a Wandsworth cultural venue and led by one of ActionSpace’s Wandsworth based artists alongside 2 guest contemporary artists. The three artists will share their creative practices over Zoom and invited learning disability groups and schools to join in and create alongside them. Participants who want to will be able to share their work with the group online in an artwork showcase. 

ActionSpace is a visual arts organisation that supports learning disabled artists across London. They seek out and unlock talent, create opportunities and enable learning disabled artists to realise their potential.
